One of the problems I had with Walter’s groomer this time was she wasn’t very careful. The first time was great, the second was mediocre, and this time was the last time. Not only was the hair uneven in some places, there were a bunch of scratches (from scissors or clippers).

I really liked the owner but he only does the washing.
So my next lesson will be in dog grooming. Walter’s already pretty good about baths, so I should be able to handle shaving his hair. Early in our life together, I tried using my clippers on him but I didn’t get very far. I didn’t know what I was doing. I can build a grooming table for $50 or less and buy dog clippers for about the same. It’ll pay for itself in a matter of months.
